of young people in Birmingham and Solihull, for
Connexions. This work arose form an earlier MDN Consultancy
evaluation of the project in 2004 as a result of which the
client successfully submitted another bid.
Provision of Adult Basic Skills
(Literacy)
...and family learning to a range of groups in Adult and
Community Learning organisations including F.E. Colleges.
Evaluation of an ESF Funded Project for a
Connexions Service
...aimed at brokering support to young people of statutory
school age who are not attending mainstream
schooling and who are at risk of entering the NEET
category of disengagement upon leaving school.
Interim Programme Management of Walsall's
New Deal
for Communities
...to review and develop improved processes for external and
independent evaluation and appraisal; to improve the internal
processes of approvals, partnership development and strategic
planning; and to provide operational leadership to the Theme
Leaders for Programme Delivery.
Management support to a Public Sector
Partnership
...to provide advice on audit for a funding stream provided by
the Regional Development Agency. MDN provided a consultative
process to identify requirements and brokered negotiations with
the RDA to identify the criteria in the absence of formal and
documented procedures. MDN identified the appropriate
accountancy service and secured a debriefing with the
RDA.
Provision of IML research and
analysis
...to identify opportunities for intermediate labour market
involvement for placements for transitional employment in
an industrial centre in the North of England.
